PNG to JPG Converter

Turn PNG images into smaller JPG files that open everywhere.

Why convert PNG to JPG?

PNG is lossless, which keeps screenshots and graphics crisp but makes photos heavy. Saving a photo as JPG usually cuts the size by half or more, and JPG is accepted by every app, website form, and printer.

JPG has no transparency, so any see-through areas in your PNG are filled with white. If you need to keep transparency, convert to WebP instead — it supports it and is even smaller.

Frequently asked questions

Why is my JPG bigger than the PNG?
For flat graphics, logos, and screenshots with large areas of one color, PNG's lossless compression can beat JPG. JPG shines on photos. For graphics, keep PNG or try WebP.
What quality should I use?
80–90% looks identical to the original for most photos. Go lower for email attachments and higher for printing.
